About

Sam Levine, Founder & Principal

Sam has been a key player in the non-profit sector for over 20 years. With roles in management, team development, operations, and strategy, she has  hands-on experience in just about every aspect of non-profit growth and development.

A Colorado native, she received her BA from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Right out college, she became executive director of a non-profit civic engagement organization. In that role, she oversaw a ten-fold increase in annual revenues with a corresponding growth in outreach.

From the Rocky Mountains, Sam moved to the City of Broad Shoulders – Chicago – to earn her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management  at Northwestern University, with a focus on strategy and nonprofit management. MBA in hand, Sam spent 15 years with The Bridgespan Group, including 5 years as a Senior Manager in their Leadership Practice. Most recently, and just prior to launching Social Leadership Solutions, Sam was the founding executive director of Constellation Philanthropy, an organization that supports donors dedicated to learning about and investing in early childhood causes in Colorado.

With Social Leadership Solutions, Sam is available to leverage her knowledge and experience to make your non-profit organization stronger and more effective in its mission.

When Sam isn’t busy saving the world one non-profit at a time, she enjoys dragging her two boys on hikes or to Rockies games, volunteering at their schools, baking pies, and making excellent guacamole.

“Your participation… was so beneficial to not only our organization, but to me personally;  and your facilitation of each meeting was seamless.”
